Are you ready for PLAY BALL Weekend?

Play Ball Weekend is a Major League Baseball initiative to promote the games of baseball and softball to youth across the MLB and MiLB markets. Youth are encouraged to learn more about the games and will be provided opportunities to gain new skills in a fun environment.

The Ports are excited to be celebrating this initiative at all three upcoming weekend games. Starting with an exciting game on Friday the 10th and culminating on Sunday with an appearance by Keith Foulke, the whole weekend will be an inspiration to local youth who have shown an interest in baseball and softball.

The Ports, in conjunction with Major League Baseball’s Play Ball Weekend, have been selected to host a free clinic at Banner Island Ballpark on Saturday, June 11th from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Kids who attend will be able to meet former Major League Baseball Players, participate in a Q&A session, and receive a Stickball Presentation featuring the former MLB players and current Ports players. The first 200 kids to arrive to the clinic will receive a Play Ball Weekend bat and ball set branded with the Play Ball logo. Registration is free but must be completed online prior to the event.

What to know before you go

The 2022 Ports season is well underway and hopefully you have already purchased your ticket plan or individual tickets. In order to make sure you have the best experience at Banner Island, we have provided some tips to know before arriving at the ballpark.

· Cashless Ballpark - The Stockton Ports will remain a cashless ballpark for the 2022 season. All major credit cards will be accepted. Only have cash? That’s fine, head to Guest Services and exchange for a GiveX card to use throughout the ballpark!
